Providing landscape architecture and civil engineering services for K-12 schools throughout Wake County is a major component of CLH’s business. One school project that recently broke ground includes White Oak Elementary in Cary, NC. CLH has been working as part of the Boomerang Design team on this project:

Apex Friendship High School is a new high school that recently opened in Wake County. CLH has been working on this project with Little Architects providing landscape architecture and civil engineering services. This school opened on August 24th and has been well received by students, parents, and teachers:

Over the next three years, Wake County plans to open more than 10 new schools. CLH is part of the design teams for many of these new school projects as well as master plan projects at the following schools: North Ridge Elementary, West Millbrook Middle School, York Elementary, and Wendell Elementary School.

CLH Annual Bowling Event

CLH staff members had a blast at our annual bowling event. This summer tradition is filled with food, drinks, and plenty of bowling. This year CLH staff members Glenn Medlin and Heather Rhymes took the bowling trophy back to the office as the staff members with the highest scores.

Alice Reese Receives CPSI Accreditation

August 5, 2015

Alice Reese successfully completed the National Recreation and Park Association Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) examination. Alice has been a CPSI since 2011 and recently participated in the recertification course. She strongly advocates creating dynamic outdoor environments in schools and parks to promote environmental awareness and physical fitness to enhance children’s health and wellness.
