CLH President Christine Hilt and Civil Engineer in Training Aileen Leahy attended the Wake Education Partnership World Cafe event. CLH was partnered with Kingswood Elementary School and the Wake Young Women’s Leadership Academy to help collaborate and brainstorm ideas on future projects at their schools. With Kingswood we discussed ways to implement more outdoor learning areas (e.g., rain gardens/hydroponics) and with the Wake Young Women’s Leadership Academy we talked about ideas to inspire their female students, as well as having women come in and talk to the students about the working world. It was a very inspiring event!
