Matthew has over five years of engineering experience on design and construction projects. He prepares site plans, design calculations, and specifications for a variety of CLH projects including but not limited to K-12 schools, municipalities, and public safety facilities. A key role he serves is developing detailed stormwater and utility analyses for new construction and renovation projects.

Zak’s passion lies within promoting environmental awareness and conservation through safe, functional and dynamic designs. He is dedicated to the profession of landscape architecture and recently served as the President for the North Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. His participation on the NCASLA Executive Committee as the Chapter President, Membership Chair, and exposure through ASLA national events has allowed him to gain substantial knowledge of tools and strategies to raise awareness of landscape architecture. As both a licensed landscape architect and LEED AP professional, he is committed to supporting sustainable design objectives to seamlessly blend the built environment with nature on parks, public safety, and educational projects.
Glenn has more than 15 years of site design, project management and construction administration experience for multiple K-12 school systems, universities, municipalities, and various parks and recreation projects. Specializing in both sustainable design and construction administration allows him to provide environmentally friendly design, with detailed attention to natural resources during all project phases. He is one of CLH’s main project managers and is also a Certified Stormwater BMP Inspection & Maintenance Professional.
Renee has more than 10 years of site design, project management, permitting, and construction administration experience with clients such as K-12 school systems, universities, municipalities, and various parks and recreation associations. Her constant collaboration with owners, clients, and regulators maintains satisfaction through all phases of design. Renee’s devotion to the field of landscape architecture inspires her to create comfortable and functional outdoor spaces.
Ken has more than 25 years of engineering design of multiple commercial office, educational and institutional projects. His fields of expertise include: site design, roadway design, stormwater management and design, sediment and erosion control, and utility design. Ken provides oversight and quality control services for many of CLH’s projects and helps staff adhere to project deadlines.
Steve has more than 23 years of engineering design, project management and construction administration for multiple commercial, institutional, industrial and residential projects. He remains involved in all phases of CLH projects from preliminary design until final construction. His field of specialization is high performance design of educational and institutional sites stressing environmentally friendly development to provide protection of natural resources by means of practices that also enhance the site’s educational resources.
Chris founded CLH design, p.a. in 1993 and has become a leader in environmentally friendly site design. Since the inception of Green Building Design standards, the LEED rating system, and High Performance Guidelines, she has been applying these sustainability standards to multiple site designs. Her field of specialization is innovative educational/institutional design with an emphasis on public participation in environmental education. Under her guidance, CLH’s portfolio includes the design of more than 20 LEED projects and numerous environmental stewardship awards, proof of her commitment to leaving a big impression through a small footprint.
