CLH provided landscape architecture design and civil engineering services for this new Town Hall Complex within the downtown historic district of Wake Forest, NC. The focal point of the Town Hall building is the rotunda that serves as the main entry to the building. The site design of the large plaza directs pedestrians to this building entry. In the center of the plaza are large curved steps which create an amphitheater area for Town Hall employees and pedestrians to enjoy. In addition to the Town Hall construction, this project also included the design and construction of Taylor Street, which expands the Town of Wake Forest’s urban downtown grid. Taylor Street allows access not only to the Town Hall campus, but also to the existing Miller Park adjacent to the campus.
