CLH provided landscape architecture design and civil engineering services for a new 8,818 SF Communications 911 Facility built on 3.85 acres in Rowan County. This site is located within the Yadkin-Pee Dee watershed. Anti-terrorism design elements were incorporated into the site design. The building was built into the existing topography and positioned the required distance from the visitor parking lot and the surrounding public rights-of-way. Careful consideration was made while designing the landscaping and assembling the plant palette to ensure that all areas on the site maintained clear visibility for security purposes.
