CLH provided landscape architecture design services for the Town of Apex Service Memorial honoring the victims of 9/11, fire, police, EMS personnel, and veterans. The Town of Apex received a six-inch metal cube recovered from the South Tower of the World Trade Center. The service memorial design included a granite monument which will hold the metal beam, engraved brick bands radiating out from the center of the monument, and brick seat walls surrounding a 10-foot tall town clock. In addition, all funding for the Service Memorial has been achieved through private donations, mostly Apex residents.
