CLH has been working as part of a comprehensive team for the development of a new Asia exhibit at the NC Zoo in Asheboro, NC. As lead civil engineer for this project, we have been providing roadway detailing, earthwork estimation, storm pipe sizing, erosion/sediment control design, water/sewer design, and service road design services. We also have been working jointly with the lead landscape architect on the team, CLR Design.
An important part of this project has been our participation in multiple programming meetings and design charrettes at the NC Zoo. These meetings have been an integral part of the design process. This project is now in construction with a scheduled completion of 2026.
