CLH provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the design and construction of a new 18,127 SF fire station. This station replaces the existing Station 12 to provide greater emergency services to the eastern area of Raleigh. The site was designed to accommodate the future Capital Area Transit Park-and-Ride location to the south and east. The on-site stormwater wetland was located to control runoff from virtually all on-site impervious areas and a portion of impervious surface from off-site right-of-way. This station received LEED Silver certification.
