CLH provided landscape architecture design and civil engineering services for an eight-acre complex that included a new chiller plant, tennis and basketball facilities, parking deck and outdoor plazas surrounded by seven existing residence / academic halls. Roadway and parking design included 400 feet of additional two lane road improvements with two roundabouts, new fire lane, new parking spaces, new sidewalks with multiple connections to existing sidewalks, and two entrances to the new parking deck. This project also incorporated renovations to the adjacent Paul Green Theatre and Chapel Hill Cemetery. Careful attention was paid to respecting the historic Chapel Hill Cemetery (listed on the National Register of Historic Places) by using historical landscaping and reconstructing the historic walls.
