CLH’s Zak Pierce visited Capitol Hill with members of NCASLA, NC State College of Design, and members of the NCSU student chapter of ASLA for various ASLA Advocacy meetings. He was proud to help represent North Carolina by meeting with eight members of Congress and staff to discuss ways to integrate the Living Shores Act, the Water Infrastructure Flexibility Act, and the Environmental Justice Act into the larger infrastructure picture. Zak really enjoys advocating for policies that benefit communities and the environment and recognizes the importance it plays in the field of landscape architecture.
