We are excited to announce that CLH President Christine Hilt recently completed her Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) certification with the goal of becoming more aware of how good design practices can help deter and detect crime before it happens. Chris learned a great deal during this training and has become more aware of her surroundings and how they can influence criminal behavior. She believes that having this knowledge will lead to better design practices.

CLH staff, friends, and family enjoyed a wonderful time together at our annual holiday party. This year’s party was held Trophy Tap + Table in downtown Raleigh. CLH staff members Zak Pierce, Christine Hilt, and Saideh Teymouri really enjoyed their time at this year’s ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture in San Diego, CA. This annual conference offered more than 120 education opportunities, a expo with hundreds of new products, services, technology applications, and design solutions, and an extensive amount of networking opportunities.
